MERCURY BAY ART ESCAPE 2022

Mercury Bay Art Escape is an enriching and engaging visual art experience for locals and visitors to the region.

Visit 50+ artists centred around the picturesque coastal area of Mercury Bay on the Eastern Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, encompassing the areas of Hikuai, Tairua, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach, Whenuakite, Coroglen, Whitianga, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach and Opito Bay.

The annual artist's open studios provide a unique opportunity to visit member artists in their studios, to see their work in progress, find what inspires them and what new art they are working on.  It also gives you the chance to buy original work from some of the best artists in Mercury Bay direct from their studios.

The artists make up a rich and eclectic mix of the arts including potters, sculptors, painters, printmakers, photographers, flax weavers, woodworkers, mosaic artists, jewellers, a glass artist and a furniture maker.
